Taj Gibson telling us on the radio side Boozer suffered an apparent left ankle injury http://twitter.com/#!/swirsk054/status/45669847182491648
For what it's worth, Dr. Kendall Gill says it looks like a hyperextended knee. http://twitter.com/#!/BullsBlogger/status/45670512503951362
From Bulls PR: Boozer = left ankle sprain, X-rays negative. http://twitter.com/#!/chicagobulls/status/45671940500885504 Whew! Not broken. Good
Here's Boozer update the Bulls are providing. Sprained left ankle. X-rays negative. Re-evaluated on Thursday. Boozer didn't talk. http://twitter.com/#!/KCJHoop/status/45698560418783232
Sometimes the team fears the worst but doesn't say as much at first. Let's hope there is nothing hidden here and Booz isn't out for the season.
KC Johnson's twitter (KCJHoop): "Thibs says Boozer has swelling, day-to-day." MRI was negative. That's a relief.
Man, Boozer is starting to remind me of Keith Van Horn. He can play when healthy, but his career seems to be one random injury after another.
Boozer figures to be out for Atl & Utah this weekend for sure. After that is home vs. Wash. on Tues., so no need to rush back. http://twitter.com/#!/McGrawDHBulls/status/45935031016882176 Bulls coach Tom Thibodeau predicts Carlos Boozer will be sidelined between a few days and a week with sprained ankle. http://twitter.com/#!/McGrawDHBulls/status/45934595081908224
CBoozTheBull Thanks For The Support Guys!!! I'll Be Back Soon!!! Doing Rehab Right Now!!! I Can Hear My Ankle Getting Better!!!
Yeah, but despite Boozer's reputation for being brittle, I'd say his body held up pretty well this time considering he was undercut in the air and landed so awkwardly. This could have been so much worse.
He's seemed kinda gimpy to me since his first injury. His stats are down from over 20/10 to like 18/8.
