Very seldom do you see a team get up by 30 and be able to maintain the intensity that got them there. That's all that happened last night IMO. The Jazz never got closer than 13. It was a pretty comfortable Saturday night on the couch.
I completely agree. I think that's why many good teams wait until the third quarter to bring out the dogs against bad teams. I know that the Bulls championship teams did it that way.
Jazz announcers said the Bulls looked tired. I dont think that was true. As one of you already said, it is hard to play with that same intensity once you had a 27 point lead. I believe briefly it was 31.
Noah also said in interviews that he was impressed by the half time celebration, which means the team watched the half time celebration. They obviously weren't completely invested in the game, which is fine.
There's one thing I think we can take away from the game: It's nice to see Noah working his offense back into the fold again. He was knocking down that jumper and the nice lefty hooky with regularity before his injury. If Noah air balls a couple of shots here or there you definitely live with that if it helps him get back in the groove before the playoffs roll around.
