    Mickey Mantle is my all time favorite player. How could he not? He was a career .298 hitter, 5 time World Series Champ, 3 Time MVP, 1956 Triple Crown Winner, 17 Time All-Star, hit 536 Homeruns, and won a Gold Glove. He was so dominate in my favorite era of baseball, that is why he is my all time favorite player.

    Cabrera is a beast, I am surprised there is not more older players being said almost all the players named are still active. Nothing wrong with that tho.

    How can a player be your favorite if you never watched them play? You're 19 and your favorite player is Mickey Mantle, to me that is asinine.

    Why? Because I have respect for past players and I like a player that was a face of Baseball for two decades . There is nothing wrong with that.
