Are you guys happy with our seed? Or would you still rather be first? Or loose a few games and drop down to 3rd (vs. Portland)

IMO, im happy with where we are... Memphis and NO make no difference. And i'd want to avoid the rose garden at all costs! Id rather face Dallas in the next round and leave OKC and SA to duke it out and we take on who ever comes out alive.

But i hope we could still manage to get HCA against either boston or chi (or both)... Facing them in the finals without it would be dangerous.

The only HCA I'm interested in, is against Boston

It's going to be hard to catch up to San Antonio unless they really go into a funk in the lat 10 games. With Duncan out we might have a small chance but we gotta win out this means my prediction of finishing 60-22 has to be improved to 62-20. As long as we stay ahead of the #1 seed in the EAST im ok with second seed. We can beat the Spurs with no HC advantage but having a HC advantage in the Finals (assuming we make it) its a must against Boston, Miami, and Bulls.

My thoughts exactly. I think we need it in the Finals, but not in the Western Conference.

HCA is nice, but I'm not worried about not having it. The Lakers have played well on the road this season and we have enough post season experience on the roster to not get shook on the road. The only question is whether this team is hungry enough to 3-peat and can we commit to defense and running our offense?

Damn! Lakers look like they have a shot in stealing #1 in the west. If that happens were poised to play OKC in the 2nd rd. And SA in the WCF.

Id much rather hold on to the #2 spot and play Dallas.

I think Thunder fans should be more worried about it. I'm more interested in having a better record than the teams in the East to lock up HCA for the Finals. I just don't see any team in the West good enough to defeat us in a 7 game series.
