This game was one of the best I have watched these lakers play, until the mavs threw in the towell. By best I mean the most entertaining as well as the quality of play. The mavs actually held in there for a short stint, but the lakers had some really big nasty plays from Bynum and Barnes that put the mavs back in there place.

Kobe and Odom put the dagger in deeper in the fourth, and really showed the mavs for what they are, a bunch of quit-ers! i was almost suprised, but then remembered the general softness that that squad has always shown. if the mavs ever posed any threat to the lakers or spurs, then lakers just showed how easily that team will give up. no heart.

anyway, it was great to see the lakers getting a little tougher tonight. like kobe said after the game, it was throwback basketball. this team is getting ready for the playoffs, and it shows.

The Lakers are playing as expected. They are still the favorites to win it all.

I went to the game and it was the most electrifying game I've been into in the regular season...I mean jut walking into the Staples Center before the game felt like it was Playoff basketball. Then the Mavs tried to get all tough by being down by 20 points, u gotta be kidding me.

I got a new nick name for LO = Unbreakable. LMAO. Lakers are rolling now and the only thing stopping them is themselves.

I love having Matt Barnes, Ron Artest, Steve Blake, and Lamar Odom. Those guys won't back don't from a street fight.

I really hope someone intentionally shoves Kobe when these guys are on the floor.

Jason Terry was talking a lot of trash before the game too. Saying Kobe is too old to chase him and Beaubois around the court. LOL.

Anyone catch the shove Barnes gave to the Mavs assistant coach? He didn't stop with Terry he pushed Terry Stotts to the ground prior to be ejected. Check it out at 27 seconds into the video.

"I'm not worried about what he's talking about," Barnes said. "In Golden State we showed how to beat Dallas. You take it right to their chin and they back down. I don't see that nothing's changed since then so hopefully we see them again."

"Down the stretch I think we showed you're not going to come to our house and push us around," Barnes said, "but for myself and the rest of the team we can't afford to be getting kicked out of the game or giving teams free shots with technical fouls."
