Oh get over it. I love how the people say 'illegal activity' like it actually means something. In most states getting caught with a little pot is equivelant to jay-walking or not wearing a seatbelt. I've been caught with a small amount of pot before and the officer just threw it away.
Then I stand corrected. I was under the impression that you told him what you wanted and he said no. As I told you via PM, I'm sorry you're experiencing pain and I hope you find some relief. If medical marijuana turns out to be the answer, terrific. I do think, however, that a physician should be the one to suggest it after thoroughly reviewing your medical history, rather than doctor shopping for a physician to give you what you think you want.
Unless someone's selling you oregono (SIC) instead of pot, there's no victim in this "crime." I think it's great that Brian lives his life as he does, and have great respect for it. People who smoke pot? Why should I care?
Agreed. I don't want someone who passes out pot like candy, anymore than I want someone who hands out pain pills like candy.
It's seriously Dr. Nick territory here in Denver in regards to medical marijuana, and its become an insult to anyone who suffers from cancer or has REAL pain.
Finding a doctor who has "real expertise" for a chronic condition is extremely difficult. Chronic pain, Lyme Disease, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, Gastroparesis, Arthritis, Fibromyalgia, Lupus, Depression & many other illnesses are all handled extremely differently from doctor to doctor, often with poor results. None of those illnesses have cures & the pharmaceutical options are there to treat the symptoms, many times with side effects that range from mild to severe. It is also very hard to get a doctor on board with the fact that you have a chronic illness because they can be hard to detect and usually they are diagnosed after doctors have failed to find other things wrong with you. This leads to a doctor who either understands what's going on & digs deeper(most don't have the time or inclination) or more likely, thinks you're a faker hypochondriac and will literally put their hands up and say there's nothing more they can do because you're fine and maybe you need some antidepressants or to see a psychiatrist. You absolutely cannot take a single doctor's word at face value, would we take John Canzano's words at face value? Is he truly the expert of all Blazer knowledge? Would we not seek a second opinion if his differed from our assessment? There is nothing wrong with seeking a second, third or even a ninth opinion. If you are still experiencing symptoms & your doctor is unwilling to help further, then it's absolutely time to find another doctor. Sometimes people who have real diseases have to wait years before they are properly diagnosed and actually start receiving treatment. It's probably one of those situations where you have to experience it to believe it.
I know with my j-pouch using marijuana slows down my digestive time rapidly. Does wonders. Plus I just enjoy being high.

Can you point me to where I said only go to one doctor? In fact, I said the exact opposite. Jesus, why don't I just let whoever wishes to disagree with me write my posts. It would save me time since people are going to read whatever they want regardless what I write.
Do any of you users in here do so for anxiety? I have heard wonderful things about marijuana helping with people with high-anxiety issues, and as someone who has such a problem, it is.. exhausting and trying on the soul. I used to take an anti-anxiety medication, but my anxiety causes me to have well, anxiety about the side effects of such medicines since they are so untested (in terms of long-term side effects over years since we just haven't had the time to see them). So I was curious as to how helpful anyone has found it in the matter of anxiety.
First, you had better consult 19 different physicians and try everything and anything they recommend, otherwise maxie's going to jump all over you. To answer your question, my stress and anxiety have gone up noticeably to me since I quit. So kind of an answer in the reverse, I suppose.
