He has a bone bruise after jamming his knee in the Nuggets game. There's only a few games left in the regular season and the Lakers have comfortable separation from the Mavs and Thunder for the #2 Seed. I don't see us catching the Spurs at this point, but at the same time I'd prefer the Lakers have a better record than any team in the East.

Here's a list of remaining games.

    vs. Utah
    @ GSW
    @ POR
    vs. OKC
    vs. SAS
@ SAC (last ever game in Sacramento for the Kings)

Should the Lakers rest Gasol at this point or keep him day to day?

Also Theo Ratliff is finally back from injury.

Don't shut him down, but I say play him 25-30 minutes per game TOPS.

Don't need any complacency from him not playing for a stretch of time.

Depends totally on him. I am sure Lakers will make the right decision considering the position they're in

Not sure if they should shut him down completely. Lessen his playing time, but definitely get him out there if he can work.

Played 27 minutes against GSW, don't remember the last time Phil played him for so little time.

They are lessening it. But they are losing at the same time unfortunately :( (Not to do with Gasol's minutes though)
