Roma are considering a summer move for Arsenal midfielder Alex Song, it has been claimed. According to talkSPORT, Roma's new owner Thomas DiBenedetto is keen to add Song to his squad as he looks to make his mark on Stadio Olimpico, and the Cameroon international could be the subject of a €15 million (£13.5 million) bid. Reports in Italy have also suggested that the Serie A club have sent scouts to Arsenal to watch Song in action and have identified him as transfer window priority. The 23-year-old joined Arsenal in 2004 from French club Bastia and has been nurtured by Arsene Wenger into one of the Gunners' most consistent performers. http://www.givemefootball.com/premier-league/arsenal-midfielder-subject-of-15m-bid---reports ---- At first I didn't see much to this, just another rumor floating around the mill. But I was checking out Twitter this morning and saw this Tweet from a top Arsenal blogger: @thegoonblog - Got some news about Alex Song and it isn't good. Will update the site with it. Nothing yet posted on his blog. http://www.thegoonblog.com/
I was wrong, the news that the blogger is reporting is about his injury. Apparently he's out for the rest of the season.
