Hungary's Zsolt Erdei will fight former super middleweight titlist Byron Mitchell on June 4, Erdei promoter Lou DiBella told ESPN.com. Erdei, a former light heavyweight titlist who vacated his belt to move up, won a cruiserweight title and then returned to 175 pounds. The scheduled 10-round bout will take place on the undercard of the Super Six World Boxing Classic semifinal match between super middleweight titlist Carl Froch and Glen Johnson at the Adrian Philips Ballroom at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, N.J. It will be Erdei's second straight bout in the United States, both since he signed with DiBella. Erdei also fought in Atlantic City on the November undercard of middleweight champ Sergio Martinez's second-round knockout of Paul Williams in their rematch. Erdei drew a large contingent of Hungarian fans who waived flags, chanted and sang throughout his lopsided eight-round decision win against Samson Onyango.
