Setting it in LA (again) was incredibly predictable though there is a very strong chance this game will still be amazing. They have the kinks worked out for the new platforms and I'm hoping for a detail-oriented game like San Andreas that was built on the GTA III skeleton. Dunno if they will incorporate the LA Noire facial animations--probably. Early rumour is there will be multiple playable characters.
Yeah they said it would be in LA a week or so ago. Looks good so far, Jet Skis make there appearance finally.
Hope they bring back the system where your grandmother calls you to come take her grocery shopping every 15 minutes.
Where San Andreas was based in LA, Vegas, and Frisco, it seems this one will be in LA and SoCal, bordered by the Mojave, Mexico, and Sequoia. The trailer also shows Kern/Bakersfield. The game is being called more of a sequel to San Andreas than GTA IV. Because the video shows a jet ripping through the city it seems likely we'll be piloting those again, which also means the game will have to have enough expansive space to fly around in--meaning a lot of Southern California/the Southwest/even Mexico could be featured in the game. Looks like the (first) protagonist will be a middle-aged white guy. Really branching out there. Would be surprising if there isn't a female playable character in this one.
