I voted Elliot Williams -- I think he should be Elliot "Teen Wolf" Williams.
Williams. I'm not excited by any of the others, so it's him by default. If he can hit the perimeter jumper with any regularity, though, it's definitely worth getting excited about him. Ed O.
Williams is still very much an unknown and most people here are likely basing their opinion on his sheer athleticism, swagger, and quick first step. Can't say that I'm not one of them. I hope he gets some playing time and surprises everyone. Heck, we could have some dark horse rookie of the year candidates. I've thought highly of Nolan Smith since he was at Duke. Although I was disappointed with the pick over Faried, I was also scared of passing on Nolan thinking that he would be a 2nd rounder to develop into a solid player.
Babbitt's not on the list, so I'm forced to veer from Jerry Sandusky and go with Kurt "Kermit Washington" Thomas, whom we wouldn't have needed had not some IDIOT gotten rid of Juwan Howard.
Crawford. Not because everyone was happy we got him, but because of who he replaced and how down to earth he is. He has talent and he also brought in a good personality and maturity. For which we lost when Roy retired. He's going to really help this team on the court and help carry on what Roy has done off it.
I'm going to have to see more of Air Elliot and Nolan Smith before I can answer that. I'm rooting for both of them. Edit: I took the question to mean favorite "new" Blazer, rather than new favorite. My new favorite is my old favorite: Nico.
