Portland G Raymond Felton will miss Tues. game vs OKC for family reasons. He is expected to return for Thurs. game vs New Orleans.

Read a story about that the other day, his mom having issues with heat attacks. Hope everything goes well for her, and for him.

Hopefully his Mom is OK ... I'll just go ahead and resist the urge to make a joke about staying for an extra month or so to make sure.

    Whoops! my bad ...

He may be the worst starting PG in the NBA and a cancer on the team, but I do hope his mom's OK.

Call me petty, but I rather hope TSA finds an excuse to do an industrial strength cavity search.

    (best wishes to his mother)

Hope his mom is ok and regains her health.

Just curiouis, those wanting him to stay away is that so we'll lose more and get a better draft pick or win more and make the playoffs?

I don't want him to play - period. Why reward him for his part in this mess?

Felton's been our best player since McMillan got himself canned. I wonder how much we should offer him. We need a little left over to pay off Batum for all his potential.

    Stop being a Mixim.

I'd be deeply surprised if Portland had any thoughts of resigning Failton. He's proven himself to be the worst starting PG in the NBA and a cancer in the locker room as well. His 'tude issues are well known.

Nope, we can all rest assured he will be loooooooooooooong gone.

I don't think it is that simple. For many (and I agree) they think the team needs to evaluate Flynn and Nolan Smith and what better chance than the next 20 games.... For me, i have such a strong dislike for Felton and his play that I don't like even seeing him in a Blazer's uniform.

The Blazers can't even tank or rebuild right. I would have traded Crawford for any draft pick in any year, and just waived Felton if I couldn't find a taker. Then play and coach the hell out of the young guys and pan for gold in the draft. Speaking of the lotto: saw we are tied with two other teams for 10th, are 2 games back of GS (9th), and 5 games back of Sacto (8th)? The Blazers are going to screw this up.

Good health to Felton's mom, in any event.

I hope the best for his mom as well. My mom went through that years ago. It is surprising how well they recover.

Take your time Raymond.... we need better draft poistion. I share BBert's concern. Lets not screw this up. It is a perfect time to get a couple of really great picks and rebuild. Opportunity knocks... lets not mess it up.

Not surprising really. If the guy is a fat ass while burning 5000+ cals a day I can't imagine how terrible his moms health would be.

You know it really wouldnt surprise or shock if they started Crawford instead of Smith or Flynn.

Westbrook will embarrass Crawford if he starts at the point. At least Flynn will get it across the half court line in time.
