Tough way to lose. I feel bad for Asik, he played a heck of a game until those last two FT's.

Cant blame asik, he played a hell of a game.

Boozer gets paid big money to score. He didnt do it this game. We lost

We need to resign Asik and Gibson...Both are demons with their defense!

I guess Watson was trying to get 1 more assist there. I'll bet that when that pass to Asik left his hand he thought, "What the hell did I just do?"

I'd guess that for a sliver of a second he thought Asik had a clean dunk, or he was anxious about having that much pressure on himself and subconsciously used the opportunity to welsh from the responsibility of having to take the big shots.

CJ's mistake was the most visible, but this game will end up haunting Boozer moreso than CJ. Everyone knows CJ is a backup, and to me it's always been apparent that he's been in over his head starting in a playoff series.

However, the stinker Carlos threw up is going to fuel another offseason of speculation and discontent.

He'll be here next season though.

I don't know. Way worse contracts have been traded.

He is best friends with Dwight Howard. I would sure consider a Turkoglu / Davis trade for him.

I'm not sure you trade Carlos Boozer's contract unless it nets you something more than Turkoglu/Davis. I'm as frustrated as everyone else, and my confidence in him is shot, but let's face it, they suck.

I could see Boozer ending up on the Nets. They have more cap space than god if they want to acquire him. Other than that, I think the chances that Boozer gets moved are pretty slim.

As much as Boozer looks bad when viewed in the context of being a starter and key piece on a title contender, he is still a very good producer and valuable piece for a team just trying to get better and make the playoffs. He still puts up near all-star numbers offensively.

Paxson turned Ben Wallace and his huge contract into something useful, and Wallace brought almost nothing to the table. I could see Boozer as part of a package going to either New Orleans or Washington for their draft picks this year, or NJ if they can keep their pick and Deron Williams wants to play with him again.

This is more or less how I feel.

No one's happy with him now, but he's still the starting PF on the team with the best record in the league and puts up a 20 PER even though he's not the focus of the offense.

He's obviously too good just to give away. He's overpaid, but not so much that having him around would be an anchor on future plans. He just can't do what some fans hoped he'd be able to.

    But he just can't.
