    His quote
"How do I know where I'm truly happy if I haven't put myself out there yet? Still love my ducks. Gotta do what I gotta do."

    via reddit
"I have the pleasure of knowing Thomas personally and without violating his privacy I will say this is an non-football issue. Thomas as a person is much more important than Thomas the football player."

Seems like he is truly gone and not coming back. Hope he goes to a non PAC school, so we don't play him every year.

Barring some unexpected events Our Class may most likely be below top 25, which hurts considering our recent success.

Probably for fun and seeing a game. If I was a high profile recruit, I'd do the same.

Edit: Yeah, not worried. He'll be a Duck. We need a RB with Barner gone and he can be an exceptional 1-2-3 with Marshall and DAT.

We would have lost him if Lache stayed, but he went onto Baylor.

Since We have no real Idea what the final class will look like, with 10 spots now left Here is what I can see as a best/worst case scenario for recruiting ranking.

Note: This is not a knock on any players, Really can't say who will succeed at the next level and only for consideration on the recruiting rank of the final team.

10 spots Best for recruiting ranking Extremely unlikely

    RB-Tyner (Come back)
RB-Green (Loves the visit and the competition)
    WR- Quick
    LB-Mitchell
    LB- Jack
    DB- Conley
    S- Mcquay
    OL-Oser
    DT- Adams
    DE-Hooper

    Lower ranking Also Unlikely.

    RB- Newby
    WR-Williams
    OL- Hinnant
    LB-Moffitt
    LB-Colorito
    LB- Issah
    S-Price
    Ath-Duarte
    DT- Etuale
    DT/DE- Sina

Actual rest of class... who knows.

For those who haven't been to Port St. Lucies, FL. This can be a very tough place! 30+ gangs in a city the size of Beaverton and Tigard combined. Jaynard Bostwick is from this city and I wonder if he's got the lute to make it out to Oregon on a non official first visit ? I'd hate to lose this kid because he doesn't have the scratch to make it out here on his own! I have not idea of this kids financial means so I may be talking out my ass, but if Chip's policy is to have these kids make an unoffical first, maybe this is why we haven't seen him out here yet! He's still got us and Miami as his top two!

Wondering what's up? This kid could be a stud!

thats not Chip's policy. Plenty of kids have made their first trip to UO on an OV.

I've no idea if JB will be extended an OV invite, but it doesn't seem like talent would be a hangup and they could use another quality inside D-Lineman. Considering the travel time involved, he probably wouldn't be coming out until his HS season is over... though that isn't stopping McQuay

usually there are lots of OVs made after Oregon's season is over... CK has expressed a preference for those as the coaches get to spend more time with the kid

I wouldn't get your hopes up on Mitchell. I mean, anything can happen, but everything I've read about him is that tOSU is the heavy favorite to land him.

He's expressed interest in Oregon saying they'll definitely get a visit, so we'll see what happens.

In other news, big time 2014 OT Denzel Ward commits to Michigan.

Shane Morris is going to be one happy camper with the O-line he's building up

We need a couple paint taking LB's and a nice DT for sure! Stanford is a tough school to beat if this kid wants the education, if he wants a Championship then a Duck he should be!

Unsure, but there's a story about him having his family with him when he visited. That's a good sign!

Regardless, if we put it on USC next week I think there may be an exodus and we may be in position to reap the benefits....

    McQuay's Father on Twitter says:

    Leon McQuay Jr. ‏@Quaydiddy2206
Oregon is a nice place if you can deal with the distance kinda reminds me of a trip to Hawaii paradise when u get there.

Here's hoping distance isn't too much for them!

Well if McQuay commits we're fine with Redfield at USC then, because we already have Seisay and what not.

    both please!

btw... I really liked the tape of last year's Safety recruit Reggie Daniels. Dunmore is obviously a pretty decent athlete... Eric Amoaka lacked tape but certainly has the measurables. I've said it before that I don't really see glaring holes that still need to be addressed by this next class, but going forward the addition of McQuay and/or Redfield would make Safety a position of considerable strength

Obviously he has never been to Hawaii. Good for us
