David Lee logged 38 more minutes than he thought he would Wednesday night after constantly vomiting, and fighting a fever, dizziness and dehydration -- "just about anything you can think of," he said -- from all the fluids lost. At one point in the second half, Golden State Warriors coach Mark Jackson turned to Lee during a timeout and asked whether his starting power forward felt well enough to continue. "He said, 'No,'" Jackson said, laughing, because he kept Lee in the game anyway. "It just shows the character of these guys." Lee played through flu-like symptoms to finish with 22 points, 14 rebounds and six assists, helping the Warriors outlast the undermanned Cleveland Cavaliers 106-96. After sitting out the morning practice, Lee had to take intravenous fluids before the game just to stay on the court. Read more: http://scores.espn.go.com/nba/recap?gameId=400277785
I started watching when the W's were toying with the Cavs in the 1st half with a 17 pt lead; then for some reason, the guys started just chucking up 3s and dribbling around. Several times I saw Bogut get free right under the bucket and the W's ignored him (Curry, Thompson, Barnes) and up went the jumpers. If I was Bogut, I'd have lit into the guards for everyone to see. The Cavs got back into the game because Curry has got to be the worst guard on a pick and roll, strolling over the top seemingly content to just trail the whole way. How about going under once in a while? Of course, its not like the W's bigs show very strong either. That needs to be fixed. Luckily, the Cavs started jacking up jumpers too and the W's took off.
