Not so sure with how United folded last campaign. I think there is also 1 other game against City left.

I think you can be pretty confident in it. City haven't been the same this season.

I think Sir Alex is very optimistic talking about 95pts. They need 33-of-39pts to get there. Can't see it happening.

What team do you root for Speeds? I don't recall, sorry.

    Very cool!

I read they are about ready to start spending as they have paid off their grounds... yeah?

Well TBH they did spend a lot this year, bringing in Cazorla, Podolski, Giroud, and now Monreal. Granted, not top-dollar guys, but Wenger hasn't gone out and paid top dollar very often in his tenure.

It's not my desire to see him go but it is starting to feel like any season could be Wenger's last at this point. Looks like we're going to have another year with bare cupboards.

Do those players total the cash he made from selling RVP?

Vela, Song, RVP, Lansbury, and Özyakup sold for about £45-million. Podolski, Cazorla, Giroud, and Monreal cost about £49-million. We have 19 players on loan and saving their salaries probably more than makes up the difference between the in-and-out transfers.

I mean the net difference is a profit for the club, which is typical of Wenger, but at least we didn't just pocket the money this season.

To me, that looks like a downgrade in talent, and he spent more $$. Would had been better off letting RVP walk for nothing, and spending the cash trying to keep him at the club.

12 points up. Some UK bookies are paying out already on ManU!
