I haven't been impressed with his performances since Penn 2. I mean, the highlight packages they show speak for themselves. GSP's had how many exciting moments since then? A flash knockdown of Alves, a couple of submission attempts on Hardy, and what? Just lots of nullification of other fighters? Really getting tired of his style. You are right, he is looking more vulnerable than ever, and gets more tired. I think he might've peaked a few years ago. No doubt in my mind that he'd get demolished by Silva.
"I've never paid taxes in my life," says Nick Diaz. Looks like tonight's payday will be going to the IRS.
Hendricks, Condit, and Ellenberger get the bonuses. Nick Diaz: [GSP] hits like a woman and I want a rematch.
I will say this in GSP's defence--he was willing to exchange, got into dirty boxing and clinching with him, and Diaz admitted that GSP messed with his timing. Diaz got what he wanted but couldn't do a damn thing about it.
Diaz did get what he wanted, he actually did better than I thought he would. Big Rig Hendrick is gonna end the GSP reign. I'd like to see Rory/Ellenberger, too.
Early reports suggest this event did gangbusters PPV business, as usual for GSP, in the neighborhood of the second Silva/Sonnen fight.
Jake Shields claims to have seen something "shady" regarding GSP's hand wraps but was prevented from inspecting them further last night.
Supposedly Shields was there as GSP was getting them taped and signed-off on them being fine, but later in the night decided he wanted someone else to see them after GSP's gloves had been taped on and the commission told him forget about it. GSP's wraps were turned over to the AC afterward by request of Team CG, who found nothing out of the ordinary with them.
Nick Diaz claims to have had no wrestlers in camp to help him prepare for GSP. Reluctant to put blame on his coaches and unlikely to change camps. How do you not bring in a wrestler to help you prepare for GSP? That shit should be the first step.

Where does Condit go from here ? Rory Mac? Ellenberger? Maia? Nick didn't seem pleased with Gracie at all at the post fight presser. Silva/Weidman on track for the 4th of July, so I'd imagine that GSP/Hendricks happens in August.
Man, Condit just solidified himself as my favourite fighter to watch. I mean, the dude is just fighting balls to the wall all the time.
Condit is still interested in fighting MacDonald so if the timing is right I suppose that's what we'll see next. Mein/Marquardt and Story/Côté would be easy fights to book from this card as well. Maybe Ellenberger/Diaz as well?
I'd rather see Maia/Diaz, that has the potential to be an awesome grappling match. Maybe Diaz/Marquardt and the loser gets cut? I'd like to see Ellenberger against either Condit or Rory Mac.
