Jacob Turner's season debut was a rousing success. After pitcher Alex Sanabia was placed on the disabled list earlier in the week, Turner was called up from Triple-A New Orleans to take his spot in the rotation. The 22-year-old right-hander responded by tossing seven scoreless innings in his season debut and Marcell Ozuna had three hits to help the Miami Marlins halt a nine-game losing streak with a 5-1 win over the New York Mets on Friday night.
