It's not like we just missed out on drafting MJ with her leaving. It doesn't really matter, let's not make "her" out to be some wonder poster that would have improved the site. This place will not shrivel and die rejecting posters with piss poor grammar and no insight who still insist on posting constantly.
I really didn't keep up with all of it but from what I have seen, I think she is 100% legit and was treated like total crap by a few posters. But such is a message board like this.
We have new posters join all the time, and they stay around. Several posters could detect the fraud and arrogance and called it out. You're now white knighting.
You're the most relaxed 'active' mod I've had on any message board. Overall, this site is moderated very well, which is why I haven't complained about it too much. I mean, the site owner is a troll, but even he seems in on the joke, and doesn't let emotion get in the way of moderating.
I may be completely naive on this, but I don't see 'cliques' in terms of posters ganging up on other posters. Do groups of people share similar opinions? Sure, but what has been fun about this board is that we all seem to be on our own, relatively speaking, and can argue like enemies one day, and laugh at something, or hold a similar opinion, the next.
My points were not meant to defend kass as much as just saying there are many silent readers, who Che k the site but don't post. I would like people to feel like they will get a fair shake if they decide to start posting. I too feel it was shitty to blame sly and for that reason am glad she moved on, but I still want to make this place feel accessible to the average Blazer fan.
