Their first player was ex-timber rodrigo lopez. Probably my fav ex-player for his goal against boca. That was amazing right Wheels? Back when we could get front row spots in the TA lol

Oh man after that Freek Kick it was Bend it Like RoRo! the good ol days! Show up 15 min before and get good seats!

Also this Alliance could be huge. Getting some young guys consistent playing time to build their confidence up. Saw what it did for Dike and AJB when they came back from their loans with LA Blues

Sacramento Republic FC unveil inaugural kits, plans for stadium
    [IMG]

Sacramento Republic FC are making more and more noise each week as they inch closer to a spring 2014 debut in USL PRO.

The upstart expansion franchise based in Northern California unveiled on Thursday the primary and secondary kits for its inaugural season competing in the third-flight league.

Sponsored by UC Davis Children's Hospital for the next three years, the primary kit features the team’s signature “Old Glory Red” as the kit’s dominant color with an always popular sash across the front.

As far as third-division soccer team kits go, these strips from Sacramento Republic FC come out near the top in terms of design and overall look.

The Cal Expo Board of Directors also unanimously adopted a recommendation to develop an 8,000-seat multi-use facility that would include a full grass pitch for soccer. The facility will serve as Sacramento Republic's home stadium in its first season, if built.

Obviously you guys don't remember when you could show up at any time during the game and walk to the front row of 107? Whipper Snappers! :)

haha def before my time. First match was USOC loss to Seattle in 09. Keita scored right before half iirc. And someone from the North End tagged Sanna Nyassi in the nads with a water bottle. I was instantly hooked.

I was convinced to go by the poster who used to be here SodaPopinski. Wonder what ever happened to him. I most def owe him a few pints for opening my eyes to the love that I could have for PTFC!

Have PTFC decided what they are going to do next year?
I have heard rumors of a PTFC II, like Seattle and Van City are doing
