Beyond St. Louis who clearly needs to start contributing there's others like Zuccarello (no goals in his last 14 games), Pouliot (1 goal in his last 16 games) and Nash (4 goals in his last 15 games) who need to get their heads out of their ass. One of those Nash goals was a prayer from the corner that got by Marty and he also had a two goal game. That means 1 goal in 13 games for Nash when you start to break things down. You can't have the defenseman bailing you out every game while your top forwards skate around doing nothing. If it's going to be the same story in the playoffs than just forget it.

Agreed. It is frustrating. We have the players, but they aren't getting it done. Put MSL back with Richards and split him and Nash up. That would be my first move.

I was happy about the win streak and it's not just about one game last night. If this team is going to do anything at all in the playoffs and with what's left positioning wise the rest of the season these players need to get it done.

Team wouldn't be scoring any more with Dubinsky and AA here. That is for sure. Nash has been a head case this season. He was great in the regular season last year. That being said. I think you explore what other teams might offer for him. Maybe a team out there will surprise with an offer.

Yeah, not about one game at all. We need Nash and MSL to produce. That is key to this team making some noise in the playoffs. The chance is there since the East is wide open after Boston, now we need to get it done. Step one is getting home ice in the Flyer series. Last night dealt a blow to that, but if we play well, and hopefully the Flyers lose a few of their games left against very good teams, we can get the home ice. We'll see.

As for Nash, I see no way we deal him unless some team calls us and offers a lot. Plus he has at least a limited NTC, making it even more difficult to pull off. Not happening IMO. We simply need to hope he plays up to his contract/talent level. If not this season, it better be back next season for our sake.

Until they get better #1/2 C's the top players will be held back and try to do it all on their own which dosen't work. Stepan has played like a #3 all year, and the next time I see him make the right play in transition will be the first. The whole team has no concept of finding the trailer on the rush, they take it all the way in and throw backhands towards the net.

Stepan has been bad this year but was playing really good hockey from the Olympic break on until last night

Agreed. Team needs top flight centers. Yet, Sather just cannot
    get it done.

I blame AV for Nash. Honestly, he should have benched Nash at least 3 to 4 times this season. It's obvious that jackass doesn't understand what consistent effort is all about. AV needs to sit the dumbass down and tell him if he doesn't see him busting it every night, he's going to sit. AV has been gutless with holding Nash accountable and it needs to stop. He benches Miller every second but Nash does a lot of the same, stupid crap as a vet and never loses playing time for it.
