Just announced that he will be missing the playoffs to fight his battle with lukemia. Prayers to Mr. Craig Sager and his family. I don't like all of the tnt analysts, but Craig Sager does his job with excellence. Hopefully he can beat this and come back healthy next year, with hisuniquely fly, sometimes hideous suits.

I don't think he's good at his job, but I certainly still wish him the best.

His first post in two months is to whine about a guy with leukemia. Totally skips the playoff stretch, and this is the thread in which to make a return.

Seems like a nice guy, that VanillaGorilla. :MARIS61:

Another trophy for bragging rights. How many posters have you driven off, anyway?

Denny's lost a boatload by keeping you around.

What are you talking about? He's great at his job because he pulls in attention.

The networks have changed over the 30 years, and the only constant has been Craig Sager.

Before he came along, the two ABC guys wore the uniform of yellow sports jackets. Then came the conservative 80s.

I see you still post as a child. I wonder why this thread made you post again?

Very cool seeing the TNT crew wear "Sager" clothes, and also how his son interviewed Pop this morning. The guy clearly means something to the people he works with, and to millions of fans. There are always going to be a few young know-it-alls who haven't really lived life at all who will hate on everybody just to be cool. I forget that at times.

The company I'm with has been trying to develop a therapy for acute myeloid leukemia (although, I'm not sure if that's what he has) for a long time. We're getting closer, but AML is a tough one and I hope that's not the form that he has.
