    Can I be real?

My gut is telling me that the play the first two games close, lose them both. Come back home and take game three before losing games four and five.

I think they need something from LA that I'm afraid he is not able to give them. He showed it two games last series. After that it wasnt existant. I would have figured it would have showed in game 6 and while he was better, it wasn't quite the same thing.

Aldridge played well in game 6. What are you talking about?

Do you feel he played at the level he played at in games one and and with the same kind of spirit?

Yes... Houston was sending their best defensive big, plus another 7 foot defender the entire game. He got them all in foul trouble. Isn't that what you would expect in terms of spirit?

There were games when Jordan scored little, but impacted the game with other things like defense and assists. Aldridge is one of the leaders in blocks and rebounding. Oh did I mention he is one of the best in scoring as well? What more do you want?

I think he was just too tired. He had lots of rest, this time, and I think he'll be on fire!

Yeah man... I mean they were doubling him with 2 seven footers. Bodying him on every position. I don't see a player on the spurs that can be that physical with Aldridge like Houston was able to do.

    I hope so.

If I'm wrong, I'll come back in here and eat my words and apologize to all of you. Last series was so emotionally draining and in the end it felt like we won our championship. Is there anything left in the tank for both players and fans?

There were two games where he totally owned it. Nobody was going to beat him or his teammates. That was game one and two. I didn't see THAT attitude after the fact.

It's his spirit I'm talking about. Not numbers. It's that spirit I think he needs to play with for them to be successful in the series.

There was only 1 game I saw him in the game. That was game 5.

 what are you talking about? Aldridge had 29/10/4 blocks in Game 4 and he had 30 pts in 3 quarters in Game 6. If he didn't have a big second quarter, Portland doesn't stay within striking distance and they are going back to Houston for Game 7. That Game 1 and 2 mentality was there in Game 6. He was taking it to Houston in the first three quarters.

He didnt score in the fourth because I think he got really tight with the game on the line, but he had four great games in that series and we won all four.

Those two games were career type games, expecting him to come up with a career performance every night is ridiculous. If he averages 30/10 against the Spurs I don't give a shit what his "spirit" is like.

Blazers In 6 I only predict the 2spurs wins based on pops genius coaching adjustments. We are the more talented team, we just have to want it more.
