CJ might get you a 28 pick this year.

Waiting, waiting and more waiting. Isn't that what the Blazers for best. Waiting for potential to blossom.

Better than waiting for guys to be 10 years past their prime then thinking they will put you up that next step.

I've said the L*kers would tank this year and get the #1-3 pick ever since D12 ditched them. Just the way shit works. Hope I'm wrong, but you could see this coming from a mile away.

No, I don't like that deal for either team. The Lakers can get more value in a trade of that pick or just keep it. That trade doesn't make them a contender, and they still couldn't add a free agent to become a contender; so what's the point?

For the Blazers we need veterans like Batum to coincide with LaMarcus prime. The #6 pick will be years away from being a quality starter. That would waste the prime years of Wes and Rolo too.

It would be a great deal if we were also doing another trade; trading away LaMarcus and rebuilding around Damian though.

If the NBA is rigging the system to make LA and NY suck while Utah, Cleveland, New Orleans get all the benefits I don't mind, haha

I'd rather have LeBron or Carmello for the MLE.

Wiggins is going to be just like Batum. His whole career will be filled with what ifs. He just doesn't have that killer instinct.

Nah, Wiggins is likely going to turn into a Trevor Ariza on steroids type guy. Which is actually pretty scary.

That's pretty close to the bottom 5 teams with the fewest wins during the season.

Yes. But the NBA will somehow put the two best franchises ever 1 and 2. I hope I'm wrong... The last thing the NBA needs is an extremely athletic wing in LA and a monstrous center in Boston.

You know, it occurs to me that even if Batum isn't a franchise go-to max contract player, that doesn't make him a bust. I could be wrong though.
