Connections might be my favorite show of all time as well. The Day the Universe Changed with James Burke is a great show too.
They should have named it Connections II. It's more of the same. It's great. You're the first Connections fan I've met in, what, 35 years? It was on PBS in the late 70s. Nobody ever knows what I'm talking about. About the program Connections, of course.
Yeah they are pretty similar, but there actually is a Connections 2, and a Connections 3, both made in the 90's.
Never saw connections. I'd prefer actors to cartoon recreations. But these are minor quibbles. The show is still one of the best things on TV, ever.

It ends with the star saying that he's a real minister at a creationist church.
