Well if a significant obstacle were to be created, it surely means that one didn't exist prior. a belief Love would have ended up with the rival Chicago Bulls in a trade and created a significant obstacle
OK, you've convinced me, you silver-tongued devil...the unnamed sources in the quote I provided didn't view the Bulls as an obstacle to the Cavs before the Love trade and since the Cavs are getting Love, those sources are probably not in the least concerned about the Bulls now.
The Cavs are favored without Love. Add Love to the Bulls and it does change the landscape. Seems pretty obvious to me.
I guess we should just give up on this season, since the favorite wins each and every year. Oh well, let's go 2015-16 Bulls!!!!!!!
Lebron's 29, Love's 25 and Irving's 22. Barring injury, the Cavs figure to be favored for the indefinite future. If you haven't gotten into the Blackhawks, now might be a good time (though "Blackhawksville" doesn't have the same ring to it).
The Cavs are favored. Then again, the Heat have been the past four years. They won two titles, which is great. But two other teams won, too. We have a shot. Will take our A game to do so. But it's possible.
Report: NBA could block Kevin Love trade if agreement for him to sign long-term in Cleveland is already in place http://probasketballtalk.nbcsports....-place/?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter I thought the exact same thing when I read that “Cleveland is making the deal with Minnesota with a firm agreement Love will opt out of his contract in 2015 and re-sign with the Cavaliers on a five-year, $120 million-plus contract extension.” That's a blatant no-no under the CBA, though of course there is no way the league could prove it (barring some idiot from CLE or Love's people saying so in an email).
Oh, I'll still watch and enjoy the games and the season. You're right, there is a chance. There is a lot of talent on this roster and we have a great coach.
