I would do that Martin trade in a heart beat. Don't think Minnesota would.

On a side note, holy crap. Hard for me to believe Dunleavy is already 33.

On another side note, I can't wait for Hinrich to retire. If for no other reason so that I can stop reading Denny bitching about him.

I assure you I'm not even close to the only one who doesn't like Hinrich playing so many minutes.

I agree with the notion that I don't want Hinrich playing much. In fact, I didn't even want him signed. But I don't obsess over it.

We pay for the product on the floor. Buying tickets, NBALP, etc .

If the restaurant burns your steak, you'd send it back, right ?

So don't buy their stuff. Or go to their games.

Not sure how punishing me by having to encounter constant bitching about Hinrich is similar to sending a burned steak back. I didn't assemble the roster.

But we do have influence. I won't buy a Hinrich jersey.

I think that the Cavs rumor is false.

So Moore is still out there. Barbosa's still out there. The Bulls' website still shows Amundson, Brewer, Mike James and Mohammed as roster players since none have signed with another team.

As expected, the Bulls aren't in any hurry to add that 13th player. Clearly, they believe that there isn't a vet minimum FA out there who can crack their rotation. This gives them the flexibility to keep that 13th slot available in the event that there's a serious injury between now and the season opener. If they stay healthy, they'll probably fill that slot with an unguaranteed contract which effectively extends the flexibility.

    Makes sense to me.

I agree Transplant. Leave 13 open and see what happens. What is out there now isn't going to make or break, that's for sure. What will become available won't either but no sense being in a hurry at that slot.

Ray Allen would be a nice pickup. So would Kevin Love.

I think it would be worth giving Michael Beasley a call.

The guy has talent and can really play. He made vet minimum last year, so I think we can afford him.

    16.5 PER, .499 shooting, .389 from 3pt, ~19PPG per 36.

Roughly a point every 2 minutes.

It looks like the Bulls are in no hurry to fill the #13 spot. I don't blame them! There are some players still out there that could be the 13th player if we just wait. Or a 1 for two trade could happen. Who knows!

Beasley could easily turn out to be a DJ kind of pick up.

So was DJ and now Aaron Brooks. Obviously at the vet minimum, some guys are worth it.

    Not accurate in either case.

DJ was a surprise in-season cut by the Raptors. Once cut, he was only on the market for a couple days before he elected to come to the Bulls. As for Brooks, he was one of the first (July 22) vet minimum contracts signed this offseason.

Net, neither spent much time on the shelf.
