http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/stats/byteam?cat1=defense&cat2=Total&conference=I-A_all there was a ton of bitching here about the D this year and I certainly did my share about the Linebackers. But when alls said and done for the Pac 12 season, the Defense put up a very solid season by what I'd argue is the most important measure... points allowed. They succeeded despite once again finishing dead last in the conference in time of possession which of course means opposing offenses had additional opportunities to score. Oregon's 23.3 points per game allowed puts them 2nd in the conference to only Stanford. Hats off to Pellum! in a very solid first year as DC. That they steadily improved as the season went along bodes well going forward. They got a little banged up yesterday, but are pretty healthy overall for this time of year. Cant wait for Friday! STOMP
