Bellator's new gloves: hijacked by the UFC? [update]

    Not sure why Coker used the worst possible picture. The printing on the gloves looks like garbage. However these are supposedly the same gloves as were used in Strikeforce, made by Everlast, featuring the 'powerlock' curve which is supposed to reduce eye pokes during distance gauging.

    Apparently these will never be seen again!

    EB Brands, the parent company of Everlast, has signed an exclusive deal with the UFC.

    Will the UFC at least try to fix their eye-poke problem by using new glove technology? Unlikely!

    Anthony Johnson's eyes are watering at the thought of Jon Jones.
