Sadly Mayweather's legacy has already been permanently tarnished by his blatant ducking of legitimate opponents like Paquaio, Margarito, Williams etc. Even if he fights Paquaio now, he should have fought him years ago, its too late to salvage it. Floyd really could be ranked up there alongside Ali, Robinson etc He has the incredible talents to put him there but the fear of losing that 0 destroyed his chances. I truly believe if Floyd dis lose that 0 he'd do a Prince Hamed & totally self destruct.. Win or lose against Paquaio now wont make any difference to his legacy but I truly fear what a loss to Paquaio would do to his sanity

He's earned his spot and nobody can force him to fight on their terms, or their interpretation of his terms. Taking the power away from these scumbags like Arum is great for the sport.

Floyd thinks he controls boxing. Its time to show him he doesn't.. If he ducks Paquaio AGAIN this time surely even his most rabid fans will disown him. he's trapped in the corner time to put up or shut up

Floyd is in control of his career. Not Bob Arum, not Don King, not Golden Boy Promotions, just Floyd.

Based on the last hundred or so years I think this is a positive development for the sport.

He is in control of his own career & he's screwing up ROYALLY!!!! Does he realize that he could probably really be one of TBE like he laughably claims he is today.
If he'd fought Paquaio, Margarito, Williams & Cotto when he should have done he had a very good chance of beating them all. He would then be regarded world wide by everyone as a bona fide ATG. Even if he'd lost a couple he would still be regarded higher than he is today. Floyd downfall was he did not have confidence in his own abilities. He wasn't sure he could beat the top guys. Heck he even made it impossible for the guys he did fight to really have a chance of beating him.
Many people , myself included think Floyd already has two losses on his record Castillo & Maidana 1. but his homie Vegas judges made sure he kept that 0
