I'd love to play the Kings again. Means we are in the SCF.

I always love the overall tone on this board after we lose a game. Like it's all over and we are F'd. Again if we went 81-1 after that 1 L this board would flip out...LOL.

We played a nip and tuck close hard fought game and lost. Just like the game in Chicago except they scored the 1 this time. We played pretty well last night. Just couldn't bury one. It happens. Not the end of the world.

Get back on the right foot Saturday at Carolina and away we go.

Wish AV would have kept nash with brass and zucc and just put hayes with kreids and stepan. Think there is better chemistry there and kreids not looking to defer to nash all the time. Tough game where 1 mistake was going to be the difference which was made by either glass or fast(could have been either one) that let richards come out and have a cup of coffee in front of the net before he finally scored from in close. I thought cam was pretty close to spectacular and anyone who doesn't think he's bringing back a first round pick before the next draft just isnt paying attention.

Boyle dogged it coming back after once again failing to convert a layup (though I think Darling might have gotten a piece of his shot) so it's left to the -14 Tanner Glass to make a play. One thing I noticed is a few guys looked tired out there particularly Zuccarello.

I agree with you about Hayes and CK playing together, one would think it to be a no brainer.

    On Thursday March 19th........

Hammond of Ottawa gives up 4 goals and still wins
in big game vs Boston. Ottawa will give Boston
    a fight for playoff position.

Price (Ho-Hum) 'pitches' another Montreal SO.

Pens lose to Dallas 2-1. Washington looks
to overtake Pens' position.....beat Wild 3-2.

Wild and Canucks lose at home. Both are
    fighting for playoff positions.

Lets see what happens next game. Loses seem to annoy this club so I expect better in the next one. The bottom line is that on the offensive front guys needs to get it going. Step, Brassard and Kreider to name a few. Boyle has just been a massive failure who owes this club big time in the playoffs.

Rangers 6 of 10 remaining games on the road......

This Thursday it's on to 'Hamburglar Land
and Ottawa mania' Can Rangers burst that
bubble. Nah. They are having too much fun
    up there in Canada's Capitol.

Yeah, the Rangers don't win much, so I wouldn't expect a win at Ottawa...LOL.

Those are your words..........not mine. Your
inferences are off the mark. I just think
    momentum is in Ottawa's favor......they
smell a playoff birth. Rangers are there.
    No big deal.

It is no big deal. Teams like the Kings and Ottawa have a TON more to play for, no doubt.

Hank will be the backup tomorrow night and start Saturday or Sunday.

No one has a better backup. Good to see
Lundy back with the team.....no doubt.

Scumbag Dolan thinks the Rangers are 2nd
to the Kings at Icelanders match.
Most of you should be pissed at his
    non allegiance. POS owner.

The Hamburglar was banged up but the Rangers had a ton of quality chances, only the 8th Rangers team to have over 100 points. CK got the message from AV, Hayes might end up being a bigger steal than McDonough when all is said and done, Cam with another solid game and the much maligned Tanner Glass finally pops his cherry. I'm liking the Glass-Moore-Sheppard 4th.

Did anyone notice the old time Vancouver
Canucks uniforms their club played in last night?(03/26/15)
Maroon and white/beige with stripped arms
    and a big V on the front of the Jersey;
reminded me of the football Princeton Tiger
    uniforms.

Hayes is the biggest difference on this team right now. He's given the team a third line that can score. While Richards was a relic last year that ran out of gass early on in the playoffs. Hayes is actually getting stronger. He has 22 points in his last 27 games. That without nearly as much ice time as other forwards. This is one player where some of the skating report was way off. They said his skating needed work. To me, his skating is really good for a big guy. I have no clue what that scouting report was looking at.

Whoever the scout was comparing Hayes to Brian Boyle is on crack. Boyle can only wish to be twice the player hayes will be for yeas to come. Thank god Boyle signed with Tampa.

Last night, 04/02/15.....more skates scored goals than hockey sticks. what's wrong with
that sentence ? NHL says nothing is wrong. BS.
On the outside looking in for a playoff spot: In the EAST - Ottawa
    WEST - Winnipeg

Edmonton goalies surrender 8 goals to LA Kings. UGH! Cam Talbot looks real
    good to Edmonton bosses.

Caps and The Great 8 down Montreal in SO, 5-4.

    Bruins take down Detroit, 3-2.

Blues clinch playoff spot by downing Calgary, 4-1.

Hot Columbus comes back to beat Isles in SO, 4-3.

Ottawa beats Lightning in OT, 2-1.

Florida trounces Carolina, 6-1.....keeps slim playoff hopes alive.

RANGERS beat Minnesota Wild to clinch Met Division, 3-2.
