David Loiseau has offered to fight Maldonado.

    I don't think that's a good idea.

I believe Bosse retired earlier this year. He is the exact kind of fighter that Maldonado can feast on. Hate this fight for Bosse.

DJ is pissed that people think this card sucks now. He deserves more respect. But it is hard to argue the card isn't at least 60% worse after losing three big fights.

Mighty Mouse is pretty upset that people are shitting on this card, what with him being the headliner.

"Of all the sports, this is the only sport scrutinized where it falls all on the athlete," Johnson told reporters Monday. "Why does it always come down to blaming the athlete for not selling the product?"

Sounds like Bosse got paid and didn't have to fight which is Best Case Ontario for him.

Poor ticket sales mean the area may pool all of the fans into new sections and close the rest, per the latest.

The upper deck is going to be closed.

Either Montreal fans are in full hockey mode or they won't pay for another so-so card.

A few thoughts on this event...

DJ isn't over with fans. He should be, but he isn't. Do casual fans take such small fighters seriously? There is some doubt at this point. Joe Rogan sells DJ as hard as he can. It doesn't resonate. Kyogi showed himself to be a top talent in the division but is well behind DJ.

Jackson didn't exactly have difficulty with Maldonado but he could've done better. Jackson hasn't had a really excellent fight in years. Maldonado looked worse than he has in recent bouts. Too early to say if the wars he's endured are catching up to him but how could they not be?

Bisping outlasted a one-dimensional Dollaway and looked pretty decent in the process. Dunno what else there is to glean from that fight. CB's time at the top of cards has been short-lived and unsuccessful. A little forced, IMO. Bisping is technically excellent and has amazing conditioning but his record against top fighters speaks for itself.

Didn't see much else of the card. I guess Tommy Almeida is looking like a blue chip prospect at lightweight.

Djs fighting style is boring. The last time I'veenjoyed watching him was against Dodson, hoping Dodson would land a haymaker.

I think there is some truth to him being too small, but then again, I love watching aldo and he isn't THAT Much bigger than dj.

Maybe if dj was a little more exciting in the ring, or had the charisma of someone like macgregor, then people would pay attention to him.
