You would think the Angles have to be picking up a good chuck of the money owed.

We shall see once it's finalized. I just can't see Texas taking them off the hook for nothing.

Junkie Josh, I think he's probably pretty much toast. I remember his Ranger team mates celebrating their championships drinking Ginger in support of old Junkie Josh. He then shows his appreciation by leaving Texas via Free Agency. I remember his wife making that ignorant statement that the Rangers let different teams "date us" end resulting in Los Angeles. Now ole Josh has filed for divorce. Why Texas would even take him back is beyond me.

Texas will take him back because that is where Josh was most comfortable. The soon to be ex wife if the only reason why he left Texas in the first place. Texas is on the hook for $15 in total for the rest of his contract. Believe it or not (gut feeling) Josh will rebound in a big way in Texas. Going back to where he wants to be without the added stress of the ex wife plus his original support group may do wonders for him...time will tell though...

...the reason the Rangers are willing to take him back is because their OF OPS sucks and their share of Hamilton's salary is next to nothing.

Well if they are collecting old bats, note to Cashman, Alex and Tex can be moved when the wheels fall off.

Funny thing about "habits" and how they can separate one from more suitable obligations. Knew this guy back in the late eighties who would show up like clockwork to our shop dock to "hang out" until his quitting time. The man always had a six pack with him and I wondered how he managed to skate out early to come over to our shop. He had to stand outside because we did not permit non shop employees inside. One day he appeared distraught so I asked him what was the matter. The man stated that it was his daughters birthday and he had nothing to give her. I started adding up the costs of the six packs he had consumed over a one month period and thought Jesus Christ you drank up her present. My co-worker felt sorry slipped the guy a twenty and said stop off and get her a present, We never knew if he did or not he was fired the following week.

Geezus Christ, Hamilton is not worthy, no more than Howe, or other constant narcotics offenders, who never rehabilitate.......

How long before 10 year Big Bucks Contracts, becomes a learned lesson, and a thing of the past. Yet something tells me, those greedy bastards, owners, et al. Will continue on, throwing money at players.........

Just saw an article on ESPN that Josh is "happy to be home" My question to this moron would be why the hell did you leave. Now the Angels are looking like the bad guys because allegedly no one wanted to smooch his derriere and help him with his habit. I realize that the Texas outfield production is at the bottom of the seas but I'm not sure how a 34 year old junkie can help. Ah shit, forgot all his team mates will forgo their simple pleasure of an after game beer and sip Ginger Ale with Josh cause drinking a beer in front of this ass who can't control himself to relapse. Hell send A-rod down there to Texas and let the commiserate. If someone has a "habit" and needs help that is fine, but don't expect everyone to change their lifestyle to fit their needs.

:biglaugh: Sad but true, even hilarious, the way Josh is hamming it up, you'd think he's only a social drinker of O'Douls, but his demons demand Cocaine..........spike his nose candy with Drano........:snort:
