I dont remember him playing like that either. I dont know if it was my rangers blinders, but I remember respecting him for how tough he played without ever really crossing the line.

He wrote a piece for Jeter's Player's Tribune a while ago, it's a good read for those who want to go look it up. He said after going down 2-0 and with Price out, he knew it was his role to try to run Henrik, who also happens to be one of his closest friends in the league. He also said he knew the Step hit was late but knew he had to do something to change that series. Interesting dynamic these guys have to deal with in those situations.

Cally only had one good playoff run scoring wise in 11-12 .

See that bothers me. I mean I have ZERO issue with playing within the rules and playing real hard and hitting real hard, but he has to run Hank and he knows the hit was late, but he essentially had to do something dirty to change the dynamic of the series? That is the issue with the NHL right there, and why the sport never truly takes off here.

I also HATE the way the league hands out discipline. If the other player isn't hurt the potential penalty is much lower. That is BS to me, and way too much is placed on is the other player injured or not. You want to tell me if the other guy is hurt the penalty gets even worse, okay, but unless it is crazy if the other player isn't hurt they WAY reduce the penalty, and that is BS.

Detroit leads 1-0 after the first. Have to give that team credit man, I think the Bolts have way more talent, but the Wings keep battling even after a terrible L in game 4. Babcock is a heck of a coach. Would love to see the Sens/Wings in round 2...:).

I want game sevens all around. I would love to see Ottawa force one after being 3-0 down.

That whole Prust article is BS. Prust is not a true enforcer. Why do we need enforcers policing the game? The refs need to do a better job controlling the game then there would be no place for losers like Prust in the NHL. He is defending the fighting because thats the primary reason why he is in the NHL. The guys like him would never see the light of day in the NHL.

Wings up 2-0 after the 2nd period. I thought 98% the Bolts would win this game, so that score surprises me. But as we saw last game with under 6 minutes left, that is not a safe lead for the Wings. Game far from over.

As for the Sens, logic says they win at home tomorrow evening and force a game 7, but as we see in the NHL playoffs anything can happen. Unlike the joke NBA playoffs, good luck trying to predict these games let alone full series. It wouldn't shock me if the Habs end it tomorrow now that everyone is jumping on the Sens again.

It would be nice if the wings knock the bolts out. Stamkos has been quite so far in the playoffs.

How many times do the Bolts only have play one
period for a win? Again, Wings have out checked
Bolts for two periods & limited them to 14 SOG.
I was wrong to think Bolts would win this game 5.....
    easily. Credit Wings coach Babcock.

I'd laugh my ass off if somehow it ended up Detroit vs Ottawa in round two.

Well, TB needs to win a road game to keep their season alive. They were 18-16 on the road in the regular season, and truthfully had no business winning game 4. But you have to figure after this pathetic performance tonight they will show up big in game 6 with their backs against the wall. Won't even try and predict that game. Would love to see the Wings win though. For the record, I still think the Habs will be the team to win that series.

How about this Hawks/Preds series. A ton of goals, some real bad goalie play, Hawks switching goalies again, a bunch of goals scored within a few minutes of the other team scoring. Crazy series. I would love to see the Blues and Hawks out in round 1, but think the Hawks will find a way. I do think the Wild will beat the Blues though, but again who knows.

Canucks out early. I hope they win, the more game 7's the better. Nothing is better than game 7's in the NHL playoffs.

    Miller sharp early.

Detroit is not going to be an easy place for Tampa to go and win a game 6. Of course they can but that place is going to be nuts. On top of that Tampa is really playing like complete crap. I mean this series could be over if not for Detroit allowing three goals in seven minutes to hand away game four.

Flames win series vs Canucks 4 games to 2. Final: 7-4. Calgary fans are
loving the Calgary kids lead by Johnny Gaudreau. Great game at the
SaddleDome. Calgary is off to Disneyland next week.

As expected Blackhawks beat Predators 4-3....to take series 4 to 2.
Preds must learn to win on the road. Thought Rinne would do better
but team was not up to it. Hawks wait for Wild-Blues winner.

I think it will be the ducks vs the wild in the west finals. The hawks have had goalie issues. If Crawford gets back to his form then I think the hawks will win. The ducks have a favorable matchup and should advance.

I would love to see the Wild beat the Hawks, but it won't be easy. Figure you have to make the Hawks a slight favorite, more experience and home ice, but no doubt the Wild have a shot to win that series.

Have to give the Ducks the edge over the Flames in the other series. Flames have that underdog shot, but Ducks going in are a solid fav in that series. Ducks got a great draw in their division. The Central was so darn tough man.

Habs up 1-0 after the first period. Everyone picks the Sens tonight at home, so watch the Habs close it out. Have to love the NHL playoffs...:).
