    MMAWeekly has confirmed that Jon Jones was in a car accident yesterday but no word yet on the details of said accident or any possible repercussions. He may or may not be competing at UFC 187. Developing.

    BSL was the first one to ramp up the speculation and he's not a reliable source. Neither is FRB who repeated the information and has since backtracked. FRB does suggest that Jones will not fight at UFC 187 due to the seriousness of what happened.

    JJ has officially been named a suspect by ABQ police in the hit and run involving a 20-year old pregnant lady. She was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.

    Jones has yet to turn himself in. He's probably hiding while the alcohol and cocaine clear his system.

    Hit-and-runs are usually because the driver a) is unlicensed and/or uninsured or b) is intoxicated. Sounds like Jones wanted to escape a second DUI. Sad state of affairs.

    A new report from TMZ sports and ESPN have placed an off duty police officer as the key eye witness. They also state that there were documents in the car with Jones' name on them. They also found either a marijuana pipe or a crack pipe.

    The misdeamenors aren't, but I really wonder if the UFC will let him fight? Can they afford to let the same guy who just recently got popped for cocaine, already has a DUI, some shady testosterone levels, and has been accused of being fake by numerous people fight? On the other hand, can they afford not to let him fight?

    It's okay though; AJ is going to knock his fucking head off

    New report says that Jon ran from the scene, doubled back to get a wad of cash, and fled again, jumping fences.

    Marijuana and a pipe supposedly found in his rental.

    The accident was supposedly caused by Jones running a red. The other (pregnant) driver has an injury.

    And, as it may seems, FRB and the other twitter guy were not that far off.

    In my opinion, DFW needs to strip Jones of the belt and suspend him until he can get his shit together. This is more than just about making $$$ now, this is about DFW doing the right thing to help someone in need of help. Jon is spiraling. We have seen this before with Mike Tyson, Johnny Manziel, Maurice Clarett, etc...the UFC needs to intervene and strip Jon of his belt and suspend him so he doesn't even have to worry about fighting. He needs to get his life in order.
