1. What will the suspensions be like? Will they be ridiculously long with Stern trying to send a message? 2. Will Stern use this as an excuse to add more rules...etc...etc...?
I dont get what the point of this topic is, cant this be talked about in the thread already made about this?
I'm thinking something like melo JR nate suspended 2-3 games. I dont really think it will be all that big of a suspension.

But anyways...I don't think Melo should get a harsher punishment than anyone else. He only threw one punch, but he landed it. Nate threw several they just didn't connect. Nate sould get the longest suspension I would say 5 games, atleast. Then I would say 3 for Collins, 2 for Smith and 1 for Melo.
I think Collins and Smith will get the longest suspensions because they started it. Robinson, and Melo will also get leignthy suspensions. my guess they'll be around 10 games. I dont think guys like Najera will get suspended at all.
Collins - 20 for the cheap ass foulMelo - 25 for sucker punch after fight was nearly over.Smith - 25 for overreacting and tackling NateNate - 10 for being Nate.

I will tear into this post tomorrow.
Smith deserves the worse for causing that whole thing by clearly overreacting a hard foul and freaking out.
Well, Nate Robinson and Melo might get 15 or 25 game suspensions, but the others should get relatively mild suspensions because they were mostly just shoving, and breaking guys up.
Ok I finally saw it on ESPN. From what I gather, Collins took an unnecessary foul on JR, which he reacted to like Ben did to Artest. That led to other players getting involved, some breaking it up, some causing more commotion. One of those, who your defending Tony was Melo. I clearly saw Melo pulling on a Knicks players jersey, and not to pull him off from the fight. But to get into Collins face about the foul. Then afterwards, when the whole thing seemed settled down. Melo walks up to Collins, to slap him in the face. That whole thing leads to Jefferies who did nothing but help, to go after Melo. I know your a fan of his Tony, but what he did, makes him a part of this brawl in a negative fashion. Also, that he threw a punch(slap I call it), he'll get a good suspension out of it. Also, on Nate, that guy was hillarious in the whole thing. He seemed to have stood up for Collins but took it overboard by gesturing with his hands. Leading to the tackle into the crowds.
