Two articles, first one from a year ago:

Even more this season, given Curry's wizardry. But...is a league of perimeter driven teams best for the sport?

    More recent article says:

I like the 3 pt line.

Before they go moving the 3 pt line back they need to expand the width of the court though and probably also make those short corner 3's a bit further out.

I'm old and old school. I love watching a big who knows what he's doing dominate a game. I love watching a motion offense patiently move the ball until, OOPS, there's an open lay up.

This said, I wouldn't change any rules. I think defensive evolution will prevent the 3-point shot from completely dominating the game.

I don't think it is necessary to move it back. There will be good counter strategy sooner or later. Then another strategy will win...

For all the talk about Steve Kerr being a genius, he only went small ball because his C's got hurt. Hurt in limited minutes, LOL.

Though it looks like they want to get rid of David Lee. Lee is 32 and hasn't been healthy no matter who's the coach nor how few minutes he's been played. Eats up a nice chunk of cap space, too. I think they buy him out.

Yup, the finals was the only time in the entire season he rolled a small lineup out and he did it only because they forced his hand, amirite? Complete luck that it worked out, right?

They'd have been better off with Thibs coaching, right? Maybe they should still do it, right?

You have no clue if Thibs would have won with the caliber of management GSW has, or the players there. They do have Ron Adams, who GarPax fired, amirite? They do have Draymond Green who GarPax refused to draft on behalf of Thibs and took Teague instead, amirite?

    LOL

So, Thibs, Draymond Green, and Ron Adams in Chicago = Bulls 2014-15 NBA champions?

    Is that your contention?

    That's a pretty good start.

But GSW may not have beaten the Cavs, either, if they had Irving.

GSW started Bogut 65 of the 67 games he was physically able to play (overuse!). Not smallball. He started 18 of 19 games he played in the playoffs - GSW played 21. Not smallball.

We'll never know; all you can do is play the opponent that shows up that night. They did, and they won the championship. It's quite possible that they would risen to the challenge and beaten them with Irving/Love or both. We'll never know; all you can do is play the opponent that shows up that night.

Starting doesn't matter; Thibs taught us that.

    Bogut averaged < 24 mpg.

Thibs, Adams and Draymond with a front office trying to activley undermine the coach during a championship run season and engage in a smear war via the press against the coachs would make it tougher to win.

What the front office did this past season was unforgivable, given that the Bulls were a whisper from finally beating Lebron and having a great shot at making the NBA Finals.
