Anybody know who is pitching for sure tonight? The recap on the final game in Anaheim stated that the Yankees has not determined the next game starter. Per ESPN Schedule it is Tank, what gives.

...as far as I know, it's Archer vs Tanaka.

On the evening of game 1 in Tampa Bay Francona held a team meeting. The Indians had been getting their butts handed but went on to sweep the Rays so they got fired up. Someone needs to fire up the Yankees so they do the same thing. And show Longoria that the Batters Boxes are not a comfort zone by dusting him a bit.

    Archer is GOOD....very good.
Tampa Bay just keeps on developing and finding good young SP.
    Terrific scouting and development system.
They've gotten Moore back from TJ surgery and I believe Smyly is due back.

Loney also returned from injury which should help the offense.
They're missing Cobb, another outstanding young SP.
If this team can get decent offensive production, they could hang around in the thick of things like a bad cold.

And lets not forgot that this is the closest division race this really really deep into the season that we've ever seen. Nothing to be taken lightly. This event is right up there with the moon landing.

The Indians beat Moore yesterday. We all know pitching is important just the same Verlander, Price, and Scherzer were swept in the playoffs last season.

Let's not forget the other compelling A.L. division races where the Central has a team with 44 wins and the next closest is one team with 41 wins....and of course the West has a team with 47 wins followed by two teams with 41 wins.

    Yep...there ya go!
