    DeAndre spurning the Mavs could make that possible much sooner than later. Mavs may end up trying to tank now. Heck I wouldn't be shocked if they even trade Dirk. If Wes is healthy and returns to form we could trade a young player for him. He can't be traded until Dec 15th so we should get a chance to see how he's recovered first.

    I'm only 3 hours from Dallas so I might be able to get some cheap tickets to root for Wes.

    Its one thing if a player backs out; they don't have to worry about making agreements again. But the Mavs would be blacklisted for backing out of an agreement with a free agent that did nothing wrong.
