As a Ranger fan, I envied his leadership and motivation
of men. Watching the 'new kid on the block' accomplishing
what I dreamed for my Rangers was tough to watch and
swallow. The man had character and taught his players
how to win after that '79 season when the Rangers beat
the Isles. We went nowhere, and they went on to win
    4 consecutive Stanley Cups.

It's incredible to think about the fact that he lead that dynasty team to 19 consecutive playoff series wins.

Of course we hate them but that was an incredible dynasty. Likely had another one in them if they didn't run into the loaded Oilers.
