http://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...ed-in-execution-style-killing-at-gas-station/ Appears it was a black dude that did it.
A black nutjob, who executed a husband and father days after black extremists called for lynching white people and killing cops
You're missing any direct link between black lives matter and this incident. All I could find on the 'net is breitbart.com articles, which are extremist and not at all good journalism.
OK, I found more. http://news.yahoo.com/were-officials-too-quick-tie-texas-deputy-shooting-155605065.html Were officials too quick to tie Texas deputy shooting to Black Lives Matter? Law enforcement officials have arrested and charged a man in the shooting of a Houston deputy. The motive remains unclear. While the motive behind the shooting remains unclear, officials were quick to link the incident to Black Lives Matter, the series of demonstrations against police misconduct. Goforth was white, Mr. Miles is black. ... Miles, who has not identified any motive for the shooting, has previously been convicted of resisting arrest, trespassing, and disorderly conduct with a firearm, according to CNN. ... In Texas, State Representative Garnet F. Coleman (D) of Houston criticized Hickman’s remarks. “It strikes me as politicizing a death that, I don’t know that anyone knows what was in the mind of the shooter,” said Rep. Coleman, who is leading an inquiry into the death of Sandra Bland, an African-American woman found dead in a Waller County jail cell in July, according to the Times. “I think black lives matter,” he continued. “I think deputy sheriffs’ lives matter. But I think the statement shows a lack of understanding of what is occurring in this country when it comes to the singling out of African-Americans.” At least one of the movement’s leaders has also criticized Sheriff Hickman’s comments as misguided. “It is sad that some have chosen to politicize this tragedy by falsely attributing the officer's death to a movement seeking to end violence,” civil rights activist DeRay McKesson tweeted.
I still think I'm lost. This officer was "aledgedly" shot by this black man. What does that have to do with breitbart? The shooting was a couple of days after remarks were made about killing cops.
Haha. So a guy pulled over for going 94 in a 75 and insinuating racism against the officer, when the dash cam clearly shows the honorable rep trying to swing his representative dick. And the leader of the black lives matter movement having issue with the police putting a black shooter who executed a white officer together with anything
There's zero connection between "remarks made about killing cops" and this shooting. Zero, none, nada, zip. To assume this is to make a HUGE leap of bad logic. Breitbart as a source makes such a leap. The cops who attribute anything to do with black lives matter with this case had no clue why the deputy was shot.
15 shell casings found at the scene. He unloaded his gun into this father of two after he shot him in the bac of the head like a fucking piece of shit coward
Seems to me that saying that there's zero known connection between "remarks made about killing cops" and this shooting would be a bit more accurate. This guy may have been a loon listening to voices in his head. There could be a million reasons that might be behind it. It's also possible that the amped up rhetoric in the BLM movement triggered him to target this cop, or any other that might have come across his path. Hopefully, we'll learn more in the days ahead as this thing is investigated further. One thing's for sure, though, the dynamic that's building in this country between the BLM movement and law enforcement is creating a tinderbox situation that's unlikely to produce anything good unless cool heads prevail. Unfortunately, the country seems to be experiencing a dire shortage of cool heads.
Maybe he was enraged by Trump's speech earlier in the day. I mean, there's every bit a connection there. Ya know?
Well, it's not very responsible to go making wild accusations against Trump or Black Live Matters or anyone else but the killer at this point.
