If anyone is still following this team after today & still care about tomorrow's game, the'll be honoring A-Roids 3000 hits before the game. I wonder if any of his former team mates will show up.
I'm not sure if I'd even show up if I had Tickets...... I know its a travesty of sorts, a modern day classic story, that will forever tarnish Cooperstown Halls. As we've all agreed before, yet, no one can stress enough the levity of this mess, travesty, even sad fact, "they could of been HOF'rs without PEDS"........rightfully so.... I grew up with the mentality, no matter whose your team, you root for 'em, as if your also in the dugout. Through thick and thin, bad times and good. Wear your Yankee Garb Proudly, in Public or Work during those horrid early late 60s, early 70s and 90s teams.....all for one and one for all. Yet, for me, it was Alex who I supported more than other great players to be HOF'rs. I didn't want to believe it, and since, have been grateful for any run he can produce, yet won't acknowledge any accomplishment as even being meaningful....... When I heard others on the BSPN boards, led by Vette (who I respected, but thought he was going a bit hard, little did I know, what Vette must of) -refer to #13 as A-Fraud, I felt (what are now known as Clubhouse facts), spoken to His face by His own Team Mates, and every Yankee who played through this era has said as much, damn near. (Torre and Mo' both talk about it)....... It will be interesting to see what Jeter has to say in His Novel soon to be released, when???? throughout the year(s). I stuck up for A-Roid up until the results were in on the Mitchell Report, yet didn't want to believe it, tho' it was getting obvious, as One could begin to see the Texas connections b/t Canseco & Fkhead, Palmeiro too.... He literally in one way changed the way I and countless others, see the game today in one way, ie, even Superman has his own vices, Batman too. What about Wonder Woman or Cat Woman..........?
Fuck A-rod, and shame on those asshole Red Sox Fans who make comparisons twixt Big Sloppi and Teddy Ball Game. Even as much as I disliked Boston I did respect players like Lynn, Yaz, and Dewey Evans on an individual basis.
