In terms of this being the annual NYE show they are a little light. If the main event falls out the card goes to hell. Getting late but hopefully they add a couple more interesting fights.

AA vs Miocic is a damn good fight. Hell it could headline a lesser PPV for sure.. after that though it's one named fighter vs 'who is this guy again?'

W-T-F?!?! I just looked up Drew Dobber, who is fighting on the 3rd billed fight for this event btw, and his last 6 fights... loss, draw (no contest), loss, loss, loss, loss hell he lost in Titan Fighting Championship.. whatever that is and then got called up to fight on a TUF final and lost there. So two questions.

A: WTF is he still doing in the UFC and more importantly B: What in the seven hells is he doing on a main card of a PPV???

Good eye! Even better, he's fighting Eric Koch who is 1-3 in his last four.

Right now UFC.com has seven fights on the main card. Don't know if that will hold up.

from WTF to what the hell... So what I was reading was dobers record on MMA Junkie as per Speeds link, then I go to sherdog and his record is completely different... like vastly different

    http://www.sherdog.com/fighter/Drew-Dober-23982

    http://mmajunkie.com/fighters/drew-dober

so let's use UFC's fighter data to decide

    http://www.ufc.ca/fighter/drew-Dober

looks like Junkie has screwed up Dober's fight history quite a bit as they have him losing to Jamie Varner while the other two have that as a win.... confusing af I'd say.

The UFC have rearranged the card, see above.

Still no word on an opponent for Thompson. Neil Magny apparently wants the fight.

Duffee/Poirier was going to be a headliner on a small show. They will fight on the Fight Pass prelims of this show. WTF?

My honest feeling is that Hendricks and Lawler are placeholder champions as we wait for the next great welterweight. I don't know who that is!

    I agree.

If Condit had better wrestling, it could have been him.

Another classic in the making with Lawler/Condit. Too close to call going into the fifth.

The second half of the fifth round was both guys running on empty trying their best to win. Amazing finish.
