It would be SO hilarious if they turned around and signed Nico.

And to be quite frank? I think Nico would be open to the idea.

I'd take him back in a hurry.

    *duck again*

Think about it. Lose him for a year, and gain a former lotto pick in Vonleh in the process. Solid move, tbh

No more Batum. He's having a great year because he's in a contract year. We've been down this road before. We know what Nic brings to the table, and it's great, it really is. Problem being, we don't get production on a consistent basis.

When you think about signing Batum...go watch the playoff series against Memphis, take a nap and get back to me.

    Bad Nic > Any Aminu

    Also, 13/14 wasn't a contract year.

So far the only thing Aminu does better than Bad Nic is rebound. I'm not one for "advanced" stats, but even those go in Bad Nic's favor.

    I've always liked aggressive Batum.

The last three years in Portland we got watered down Batum.

Like the Afflalo deal, this trade is starting look look horrific.

The season before last he was terrific. And even last season he was better than Aminu (and Barnes...who some people want to give a max contract to). Peoples expectations for him were just way out of whack.

I love Ryan Anderson, but dude is way to hot and cold offensively and his defense totally sucks.

I'd only take Batum back if we played him at sg this time.

Delly has to be on the list.

He brings a defensive intensity that you will never see from any guard on our roster.

He wouldn't have stayed here.... and he won't stay in Charlotte. There will be a SHIT TON of teams with cap space this summer. He's going to get maxed by someone in a bigger market.

Stats Schmats. Batum was the poster child for inconsistent effort, and half the time seemed too tired to play.

Just imagine: Roy goes down and Batum steps up and plays the way he has this season. He had the talent. He had an opportunity to be the hero. Same thing when Wes went down. He made a choice - and the fans/team should never forget that.
