He's been injured and sitting out the last few games. The team has looked better and gotten off to much better starts. I don't think the two are completely unrelated. Now I'm excited for Noah long-term; and he made sense as a low minute starter when we had a chance of being all over the lottery. He had some good games before getting hurt and even cracked double figures. But I tend to think the team will be better in the short term with him watching. If this team continues to fight for a playoff spot does he get any minutes? Should he get any minutes? Does that hurt his long term development? Could it cause problems with his development and teammates if he is being 'handed' minutes while not earning them? I'm just not sure what to think about this one it'll be interesting how Stotts handles the situation.
Noah wasn't given enough minutes to hurt us too much. Stotts has stated openly that giving Noah experience is a priority for the season.
noah and leonard are not really ready for starting, esp on a team that is now fighting for a playoff spot.
I very much disagree with this. Noah didnt have an impact in the game enough one way or another to see this in my opinion. For that matter, neither have Harkless or Leonard. He shoiuld get minutes regardless, or we are hampering our future.
Leonard can't defend 4's, or really any player with average footspeed. Noah's defense is already better.
