Giants could be drafting anywhere from 8 to 14 it looks like. Either way, a new GM must be hired. Reese has proven time and time again he's an incompetent moron who doesn't understand how to trade down and acquire extra picks like the Pats have done for years. There doesn't seem to be any stud DE available at that spot. Many guys who might be really good. I'd like to see the Giants trade down to 25-28. Acquire an extra second, couple of third's and fourth round pick which I think they can do quite easily by trading down. Then go with the best DE, FS, WR, LB available at 25 to 28. Perhaps something like this.

    1. Jon Bullard DE
    2. Noah Spence OLB
    2. Tyler Boyd WR
    3. Evan Engram TE
    3. Jalen Mills FS
    3. Tyler Matakevich ILB
    4. Deon Bush FS
    4. Briean Boddy-Calhoun CB

This is the type of draft and draft strategy this team needs to adopt. However, our current GM is entirely too stupid to do this. He has proved this over and over again.

I like Shaq Lawson a lot, but I think we might be picking too high for him. If we can trade back to the 14-18 area while getting another second I would be all over that.

You can't be serious? Jerry Reese would not know
how to obtain extra picks. Besides, his picks leave
    something to be desired......2011 -CB-Amukamara....bust;
    2012 -RB-David Wilson......bust; 2013 -OT-Justin Pugh
moved to OG and is still a ?; 2014 -WR-Beckham Jr.....
    great talent/ poor judgment; 2015 -OT-Ereck Flowers

(There is not one player from the 2012 Giant draft on the
team.) That's perfection on the negative side.

At this rate, the Giants will be playoff bound after
    Reese get fired.

Sadly, Mr. Mara doesn't get it either. Wrote him a letter. He returned it and showed exactly why this team sucks now. He pretty much said he didn't believe in trading down. He also said that GM's don't trade number one picks in later years like 2019 or 2020 to move up in a draft. It's nonsense. It's because the people running teams and drafts don't have any clue how to be creative and don't understand the desperation of many GM's around the league to keep their jobs. Sadly, Mr. Mara is as lost as Jerry Reese is. Basically, we are screwed. The owners and GM of this team don't understand how to work a draft. The years of winning are over. Dark times are ahead. The Giants will continue to work with the feeble minded strategy, draft the best player available and don't trade down to get extra picks. Moronic. Wait until Eli declines. Then this team will really suck ass.

Not an optimistic Giant fan. I agree, Kreids.......owners
and management are clueless. We are now witnessing
an extended down period. Am I glad I did not dish over
$25,000 for a seat to watch a loser!
