Blackhawks agree to terms with Forsling

    The Chicago Blackhawks announced today that they have agreed to terms with defenseman Gustav Forsling on a three-year contract.

    Forsling, 19, registered 21 points (6G, 15A) through 48 games with the Swedish Hockey League’s Linkoping HC. The Linkoping, Sweden, native added three points (1G, 2A) in six postseason games. Drafted by the Vancouver Canucks in the fifth round (126th overall) of the 2014 National Hockey League Draft, Forsling has collected 27 points (9G, 18A) in 86 career games with Linkoping HC across two seasons (2014-16).
