Pray that Corn Flake Eovaldi can go at least six good innings, wake up the offense, and kick some Giant Butt. As pissed as I got yesterday the old screen narrowly escape getting a wrench thrown through it. I see A-rodham is sitting again today, good move.

He's gone six innings on 100 pitches....got the last two batters on a K and easy comebacker. 2-0 Yanks.
Let's see if Joe The Genius sends him out to start the 7th on a short leash.
Remember, Yanks are without their big three relievers....I would rather try and stretch Eovaldi another 1/3, 2/3 or maybe another full inning than risk Shreve starting the 7th.
This has been one of Eovaldis better games, allow him to begin the 7th and take it one batter at a time from there.

Na.................Joe just got some more runs.........5-0. EO gets to pitch the 7th, I think.
    Never know with Joe!

Hey Steiny twins, look at all those empty seats. Can't fool the Yankee faithful!

The way the Team's been playing, off and on, sputtering around .500; it's going to be a long month come August...Boston, Mets, Injun's, O's again, then onward to September's Bosox show downs....

listening to the game on the Radio today***, would of liked to of seen Tex hit his HR, cuz I don't believe he even hit the fkng ball....

Beltran the old man continues to be the only example of consistency, tho' I did not like the signing of Carlos, its a sad state of Yanx affairs...

I feel for Joe, Tanka excepted he know his starters are going to break at some point in time. Eovaldi , then he has to rely on mid relievers that can't be trusted. God Damn it start the rebuild>

wonder how much rope, and for how long, Tadpole and Trashman (TnT boys) give Joe...??? It's a wonder any Mgr would take and/or want the hallowed job of being a Yankee Skipper...

The Yankee Brand looks tarnished, beyond need of a severe polish shine; the leather is rotten. The brand relies on History's great fortunes past. The addage: 'what have ya' done for me lately', is long overdue for heads to roll. Sadly neither the TnT boys can see Joe's been given a sack of shit by both boys, and they are the problem with this team, as much as the supposed one that's been taking the field...

how long must we wait...? Joe deserve's better, more, than shit for a hand. Holding snake eyes only, gets old fast for Fans. Those empty seats speak volumes, and money doesn't talk it swears...!~~!

Yanks have played well lately and have certainly held their own vs "good" teams, lately.
Boston took 2/3 from them at the start of this home stand and Yanks took 5/7 total from Baltimore and SF. and went 6-4 on the homestand.....okay....but far from good enough.
They needed that sweep from Baltimore or SF, but more so vs Baltimore which was a two game swing instead of Yanks being currently 7.5 games behind, it would've been 5.5 games.
....this team needs a WINNING STREAK soon if the players feel they have a shot for at least a one game raffle (WC) to the ALDS.
They took 3/4 from Cleveland prior to the break.....

Yanks' situation is obvious- they need to be better than "good" the rest of the way, lol, I'm not making any wagers.
I put on my rose colored pinstriped homerific glasses and I'm thinking it could be possible for management to make a trade or two with their eyes on both helping THIS current team and of course with the future in mind.

Giants did not play well in Yankee Stadium. Granted, they have injuries to key players.
Poor defense, bad base running and average pitching attributed to losing the 3 game series,
2 losses to 1 victory. I expected a stronger 1st place NL western team.

I do not know how you felt about Chad Green's performance this afternoon. I liked what
I saw. Though it was a relief gig, he threw hard and accurate. Would like to see more.
    Listening Mr. Girardi?

I had to admit that I was as nervous as a long tail cat in a room full of rocking chairs when he was put in there. He got the job done but Tanaka excepted I have little faith in any Yankee starter or so called long man. Lets just see how he progresses.
