The same garbage from years past was front and center today against Washington. A terrible loss in a game they should've won easily. Horrific penalties and turnovers.
DISCIPLINE. There was none of it wearing Blue. They literally gave this game to the Skins. Showed what they've been for the last few years.......horrible.
A lot of terrible play and decisions all around. A dumb penalty took away a blocked punt and they lost Richburg for the game after a complete loss of discipline. Eli didn't play well at all either. He under threw Vereen on what should've been a TD and was lucky it wasn't picked off. That end up three points instead of seven. He also missed a wide open Beckham down the sideline for an easy long TD. Then off course the two really bad INTs on the toss to Tye and the toss to Vereen. Tye stopped the route but I didn't like the play call or the throw and he tossed the game away on a throw to a well covered Vereen.
Not looking forward to playing at Vikings next Monday nite after this fiasco. Good luck! Ben McAdoo has the unenviable task to straighten his team out; unfortunately, it may take more than one week.
They need to stop trying to be so cute on offense and realize they have three stud receivers. For example Cruz had only three targets yesterday but caught all of them or 70 yards. Tye had five targets and Donnell had four targets. Why would you not feed Cruz the ball more? Get it to Beckham, Shepard and Cruz and stop trying to be cute with ill advised passes to tight ends and backs. I don't like their history in Minnesota and the Viking defense has been really tough so far. They beat up Cam Newton and the Panthers yesterday. That said the Viking defense isn't all that spectacular outside of Diggs. If the Giants limit mistakes they could come out of there with a win.
It's tough but the NFL has become completely unpredictable. Without AP the Vikings offense is not that great. Keep Diggs in check and they're going to try and beat you with their defense. Eli needs to show up next Monday night and put his Minnesota nonsense behind him.
I'm more curious to see if Ben McAdoo prepares the team after a complete meltdown performance. If the team executes and can beat the Vikes away.......he has my attention.
They need to erase the bad history there especially Eli. He has played like crap there over the years.
