Why did Neil accumulate so many frontcourt assets within the past few years?

The common assumption with the unbalanced frontcourt is that Neil is putting the pieces together for a major trade. With FAs scoffing at the idea of playing in Portland this is our only route.

On media day Lillard was asked twice about DeMarcus. Where there is smoke there is fire? Not the most reliable source (...at all) but:

I only saw one of the times dame was asked about DMC, the look on his face was priceless. But not as priceless as this quote from that article.

The fuck? Giving up Dame? That'd be the dumbest trade ever, and would effectively kill the rest of our team's chemistry and morale... for... A guy who has been known to not be the best locker room guy.

    I say again. THE FUCK?

The article doesn't claim Dame to be part of the trade.

Well it is now easier to match salaries. (i.e Meyers and Ezeli)
If it happens it will be closer to the trade deadline. I would not give up too much more. Maybe Vonleh as well. That still leaves a strong core.

There's no way unless olshey is willing to give up CJ and I just don't think that's going to happen. Not in today's NBA. Portland has what everyone wants in the backcourt.

But I do think cousins would love it in Portland.

If our pieces continue to develop, there's a chance.

With SAC having drafted Cs recently, I don't see how our bigs would be attractive to them. If we want Cousins we have to hope that Crabbe looks worth his contract, and then hope that SAC wants a combination of Crabbe/Aminu/Vonleh in exchange for DMC/Gay. The other team I'd try to sell that same package to is LAC for Griffin/Redick, but CP3 will need a major injury for them to blow that team up.

Because he's a petulant, coach-killing knucklehead who is known to hand grenade team chemistry, and he's nowhere near good enough to justify making such a huge roster change at this point. Plus, he's fixin' to get PAID soon, and would put us even further into luxury tax hell.

You guys are crazy. IF a deal for boogie ever went down, you can damn sure believe Dame or CJ will have to be a part of it.
